Vikings all set to invade Baldoyle this weekend with the return of the Baldoyle Viking Festival 2022
The Baldoyle Viking Festival is set to take place this Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th July, from 12pm until 5pm, in the new bigger venue at The Baldoyle Racecourse Park where there will be warrior fighting, battle re-enactments, a Viking Village, craft displays, a treasure hunt, face painting and much more.

First Lady Mrs Sabina Higgins, pictured with Sea of Change Choir, an all female group made up entirely of cancer survivors at the Official Opening of the brand new multi-million euro Beaumont Breast Centre. Mrs Sabina Higgins was Guest of Honour at the event – making the First Lady of Ireland one of the very first to step inside the doors of this world class facility, that will benefit 10,000 Irish women per year, for decades to come. The brand new Breast Centre, which cost circa €6m to build, is spread across three floors in a purpose built setting in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. It incorporates eight consulting suites, five imaging suites with the very latest 3D and ultrasound equipment, a bespoke Clinical Trials Unit dedicated to ongoing clinical trial development facilitating translational research, a prosthesis and post mastectomy underwear fitting room, a dedicated Counselling Suite, nurses Administrative Suite and a Board Room where the entire multidisciplinary team can gather to assess and create personalised patient treatment plans.

Brave Francesca Murray is preparing for the June 5 Women’s Mini Marathon after making a remarkable recovery from a stroke, which she mistook for a hangover. She signed up for the 10k to raise funds for Cork University Hospital Charity to thank medics at the hospital for helping to rebuild her life.
