Women’s Menopause Health Event, Friday October 21st, 2022. Learn all you need to know about your menopause journey in one go at this special event which aims to inform and help women navigate and thrive during the natural hormonal phases of menopause.

Fingal Enterprising Women Network all set to host a special September event entitled “Circle of Friends” which will take place on Thursday, 8th of September 2022 from 10am to 12.30pm followed by a networking lunch at The Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.

The Baldoyle Viking Festival is set to take place this Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th July, from 12pm until 5pm, in the new bigger venue at The Baldoyle Racecourse Park where there will be warrior fighting, battle re-enactments, a Viking Village, craft displays, a treasure hunt, face painting and much more.

Mrs Sabina Higgins was Guest of Honour at the event – making the First Lady of Ireland one of the very first to step inside the doors of this world class facility, that will benefit 10,000 Irish women per year, for decades to come. The brand new Breast Centre, which cost circa €6m to build, is spread across three floors in a purpose built setting in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. It incorporates eight consulting suites, five imaging suites with the very latest 3D and ultrasound equipment, a bespoke Clinical Trials Unit dedicated to ongoing clinical trial development facilitating translational research, a prosthesis and post mastectomy underwear fitting room, a dedicated Counselling Suite, nurses Administrative Suite and a Board Room where the entire multidisciplinary team can gather to assess and create personalised patient treatment plans.

Brave Francesca Murray is preparing for the June 5 Women’s Mini Marathon after making a remarkable recovery from a stroke, which she mistook for a hangover. She signed up for the 10k to raise funds for Cork University Hospital Charity to thank medics at the hospital for helping to rebuild her life.

The victorious northsiders triumphed over a strong Peamount United side after a dramatic penalty shoot-out with the final finishing 2-2 after extra time.

The Green Party has published a new report on Dublin’s Capel Street. The Vision for Capel Street contains recommendations for the future development of the street which is due to be traffic free from May of this year. The report was commissioned by Ciarán Cuffe MEP and launched by Minister of State Malcolm Noonan TD on Dublin’s Grattan Bridge.

Centra’s ‘Take Part and Take Back from Cancer’ campaign in support of the Irish Cancer Society this Daffodil Day. Centra are proud to partner with the Irish Cancer Society this year, enabling customers to tap and donate at the till from 24th – 27th March in participating Centra stores nationwide. 100% of donations will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society enabling them to provide crucial support services such as the Irish Cancer Society Freephone Support Line, the Volunteer Driver Service, the Night Nursing Service, and the free Counselling Service.
