Fingal’s Female Entrepreneurs Set For Special Friendship Themed Event 

September has arrived. Kids are all back to school. Fingal’s female entrepreneurs are looking forward to another fantastic networking event. 

Fingal Enterprising Women Network will host a special September event entitled “Circle of Friends” which will take place on Thursday, 8th of September 2022 from 10am to 12.30pm followed by a networking lunch at The Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.

In this captivating “Circle of Friends” session the topic of discussion will be friendship circles and how to build a strong circle of your own where you are surrounded by people you can trust, go to advice for and share your good and bad times with.Hosted by LEO Fingal and facilitated by Carol Ann Hickey and Barbara Nolan who will welcome a range of Guest Speakers including Wendy Stunt, Allison Keating, Amy Herbert and Caroline St. Leger who will discuss a variety of topics.

Now in its seventh year, Fingal Enterprising Women Network (FEWN) is an invaluable platform which enables local female entrepreneurs to grow their knowledge and connect with like-minded entrepreneurs as they navigate their business journey. 

An initiative of Local Enterprise Office Fingal, FEWN has become an integral part of life as a female entrepreneur in the local area. Each event features a keynote speaker, after which participants are invited to mingle where they have an opportunity to engage and network with like-minded businesswomen. 

The year to date has seen two in-person networking events featuring some excellent guest speakers who spoke on a range of business-related topics, including branding and embracing change. Highlights from 2022 so far have included guest speakers such as broadcaster prominent Lorraine Keane and thefounder of Irish online beauty store “The Beauty Kit” Anne Gallagher.

Speaking in advance of the “Circle of Friends” event, Oisín Geoghegan, Head of Enterprise at LEO Fingal, explained, LEO Fingal are looking forward to welcoming Fingals Female Entrepreneurs to our Circle of Friends Event where it is hopednew friendships and connections will be formed. This event has been designed especially so that local businesswomen can come together and foster new friendships which it is hoped will act as a source of support on their business journey.”

Barbara and Carol Ann, co-owners of M-Space Malahide are facilitating this Fingal Enterprising Women Network event for the first time, said, “Being in business can be a lonely journey, so establishing a solid friendship circle of like-minded women is a key factor which can contribute to maintaining the motivation that’s required to run a successful business.
