Vikings all set to invade Baldoyle this weekend with the return of the Baldoyle Viking Festival 2022
The Baldoyle Viking Festival is set to take place this Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th July, from 12pm until 5pm, in the new bigger venue at The Baldoyle Racecourse Park where there will be warrior fighting, battle re-enactments, a Viking Village, craft displays, a treasure hunt, face painting and much more.

The Green Party has published a new report on Dublin’s Capel Street. The Vision for Capel Street contains recommendations for the future development of the street which is due to be traffic free from May of this year. The report was commissioned by Ciarán Cuffe MEP and launched by Minister of State Malcolm Noonan TD on Dublin’s Grattan Bridge.

Fingal County Council has lodged a joint planning application for a €10m redevelopment of Howth Castle. The massive revamp would involve conservation and restoration works on the castle, and its grounds. If it gets the green light, up to 150 new jobs would be created on completion, with 100 jobs during the construction phase. Tetrarch Capital and the Michael J Wright Group are partnering on the project, and plan to create a visitor and tourist destination.
